    Here we have an
    Antique Stanley WINTERBOTTOM'S Patented No. 2 Combined Try & Mitre Square - 6 in.
    This is the Type 2 version of the square that was manufactured from 1888-1897. It has h
    and stamped numbers with 1/8 inch marks on both sides. It is in Good 'used tool' condition with corrosion marks on blade (see pics)
    . The Early Style Rosewood handle is marked "PATENTED (in an arch) with April 16, 1872" in a straight line below, as well as "PATENTED July 29, 1869" in a circle.  There are no cracks in the Rosewood. There is a faintly scratched owner's 'H' mark on the handle. Brass trim is in good condition.  Blade is not bent.  It is tightly affixed to the handle.  Please see pics to verify condition.
