    Description

    These are the items in this sale.  They are all for one price.  Each is important for a backpacker or hiker to have.   All are clean and in working order.  Buy them now, and shopping for your trip will be not only far less expensive, but also much easier.
    1)  Katadyn Water filtration system from Switzerland, with instructions for use and care. This is a widely used device for obtaining safe water.  It is a scientifically developed filtration pump that ordinarily costs well over 0.
    2) Snake bite kit with rubber suction, tourniquet, cutting device, etc. and instructions.  From Canada
    3) Match holder that is waterproof, with striker on base.
    4) Flint striker for sparks to light a file.  Comes with small marble stone square to hit for sparks.
    5) Some single edged razor blades. (The tops are rusty but can be cleaned; bottoms are enclosed in cardboard for protection.)
    6) Yards of wound nylon rope about 1/4" thick.
    7) Folding metal and glass candle lantern for hanging or standing.  This is one of camping's most reliable lighting devices.  Packs up easily and takes up little space.
    8) Five refills for lantern of slow burning candles.
    9) Replacement glass chimney for the lantern in the event it is needed.
    10) Survival foil "blanket."
    11) Portable Varco "saw" of "chain" that is actually a saw blade, with two rings, one on each end of the saw blade.
