This is Gus. He is the spirit of a stillborn baby who never got to experience the world in the flesh. The spirit does not speak. The communication I got was oddly telepathic but in pictures. From what I could gather, Gus was born as a home birth, but he did not survive the birthing process. When he was in his mother’s womb, he formed a deep bond with her. When he didn’t make it through his birth, he found the nearest vessel to enter. This doll belonged to his older sister. He wanted to be near his mother and try to comfort her. Unfortunately, he ended up frightening his sister because she could feel that her doll was no longer hers. Strange things started happening because Gus didn’t have the brain development – as a baby – to communicate well.
So, the family threw the doll away not knowing that it was Gus. Eventually someone else found him and took him in for a child to play with. He’s been through many hands. Im not sure what happened with that family. Maybe I'll learn later on.
Gus was heartbroken and he still has bouts of fury. He isn’t very strong. He mostly makes the pictures on the wall shift and become crooked. (Seriously drives me crazy but I'm weird). Sometimes he flickers the lights. His brain development has not progressed much in his spirit form. It’s strange, sometimes he seems so wise and sometimes infantile.
He seems to calm down when he hears a woman singing. He even calms down when I sing and I’m not exactly a good singer.
**This is the second time I've listed Gus. The last buyer flaked on the payment. I think that might be good if that person was not ready to care for such a precious spirit. Please only bid if you are ready to care for him.**
The vessel doll itself looks very old. It has chips on it and some damage. He has clearly been through a lot. The doll is about 9 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide at his widest part. He does not have real hair; it is painted on. The eyes and lips are painted on. The arms and legs move. He only has a cloth diaper, whichis held together by safety pins, and a hooded blanket thing for clothes. I can’t figure out of what material the doll is made. At first, I thought it was Bakelite but on further examination, I’m not sure. The whole body is made of the hard material.
Although he can be very babyish, and at times gives off a strange peaceful feeling, Gus is very sweet. Holding him makes you feel good. As if you are providing the love that Gus wanted when he decided to stay on Earth as a spirit form. If you want someone to care for and have plenty of patience and love to give, Gus is a great new friend for you.

I find dolls who are spirited and help them find a safe and comfortable home. All my dolls have been in my care for at least 3 months. I find them in different places but always they reach out looking for someone to find them a new home. Sometimes the spirit in the doll wants a new home because they are trying to find a person with whom they connect. Sometimes they are looking for a new adventure. At times, they are unhappy where they are and are looking for a living place. Either way, I am particularly sensitive to them, and they seem to showthemselves to me everywhere I go. I have had this talent since I was small and now that I have my own life, I have the freedom to help any spirits I can.
I have a cat and a dog, and they are – like most animals – very sensitive to the spirits. This is helpful because animals are better at picking up evil or temperamental spirits who are hiding that part of themselves. If they’ve picked up anything like that, I will list it. Most spirits, however, even if they are less than perfectly sweet only need some care and attention.
Any informationabout the doll, I will share. Often, they are not ready to share how they died. I will write about it if they do share. However, sometimes it takes much time and patience listening and bonding with the spirit. Especially when the spirit was a child. Many of these spirits had traumatic pasts. It is our responsibility to make sure they and their vessels have a safe and happy place to stay now.
