I just released these vessels back into the open, they have been stored away in a trunk for a number of years.
As soon as I unrolled them from the fabric they were kept safe in, I could feel them wake up. When I look into their eyes you can't help but see their whole face.

Margarita and Miguel played a major part in the Maya population. To them the land was sacred and they treated it like a deity.
They provided sustenance and spiritual significance to daily life.
Margarita and Miguel
have been in my families possession for over 20 years and were gifted to my mom from one of her elders.
When I am around them, I can't take my eyes off of them. I can feel them looking at me and as soon as I look at them, their eyes move away.
Their vessels really convey their past and truly show how special they are.
