    HIGO KUMAGAI TSUBA
    A very nice, excellent quality Higo Kumagai iron tsuba. 83X75X3.5mm, with silver nunome outer rim with very fine line, gold inlay of 3-5-3 paulownia mon and vines. Interesting worm hole texturing to background surface. This is one of the better Kumagai tsuba that shows excellent quality (leans more to Shimizu skill level) without all of the flash exhibited by many of the Edo Higo group. Very minor wear to inlay. This should paper very well. This comes with a pillow storage box. A very nice example.
