Description

This Swiss made portable water filtration system has the look of professional medical equipment with durable aluminum end caps.  The flexible water pick up hose has an aluminum appearing metal end fitting that contains a fine mesh metal prefilter screen.  The pump is located inside a heavy duty white ceramic tubular body (referred to as "the candle").  The pump handle is aluminum as is the knurled screw-on cap.  All very well finished, very durable looking, very high quality.  A conversation with the manufacturer indicated that replacement filters are available.  The manufacture claims it will make biologically acceptable drinking water from rivers, lakes, streams or ponds.  Don't use it to filter chlorine treated water.   Purchased new, these units now cost approx. 0.
