Schering Replica 16th C Paré Scalpel - Mermaid Letter Opener Garamycin Advertise

Vintage (1970's) Schering Garamycin sulfate advertising letter opener with a mermaid carved handle as a replica of a 16th Century Ambroise Paré scalpel.
Presented to pharmacists and medical doctors. Includes the accompanying advertising leaflet, but is not in a presentation box. The handle end is in excellent condition but the very tip of the letter opener end is broken off and 1 inch from the end there is a linear discoloration across the blade end which could be a crack (it's rough so it may have been glued). See photos. Despite this subtle damage this letter opener is still suitable for a display.
