These are Seppa used for the sword. SAMURAI of Japan always had KATANA(sword) till the Edo period. When it became Meiji Era, Japan forbade that people had KATANA. However, even if it became Meiji, KATANA continued being made for a while. These are Seppa used for the sword to World War II from the Edo period. These Seppa have gold-colored metal on the copper surface. One of the Seppa has a part of the gold-colored metal peeled off. These Seppa are old, so they have some rust and some dirt.
