    Description

Two small Iron tsuba with characteristics suggesting Satsuma influence. The first small and thin (66.2mm by 62.6 mm by 3.4 at mimi) and may be interpreted as the satsuma crest. The second (mokko gata) bears udenuki-ana whose placement directly to right of nakago ana are consistent with Satsuma. These particular style of holes were designed to accommodate the twisted paper used to remind one not to draw his sword.
Second tsuba (Mokko) 62.2 mm by 55.2  by 2.9 mm mimi and 3.3 mm edge
