It is an iron brim of Tomomichi Kawaji, a resident of Hagi in Nagato no Kuni (Yamaguchi Prefecture) in the early Edo period. Tomomichi was held by the Mori clan as a feudal lord during the Kanei era, which is also called a good soldier, and he worked on tsuba and other works, and was provided with four people and seven stones of rice. He died in December of the first year of Kanbun. This tsuba is made of high-quality iron with a thick, stroking-shaped shape, and is made into a splendid plow carving of Rokaku Sansui. Comes with a certificate of preservation sword orthosis from the Japan Art Sword Preservation Association. Since it is in very good condition, it is a candidate for a higher-grade special preservation sword orthosis. A large brim with a length of 8.5 cm, a width of 8.2 cm, and a thickness of 5 mm. It is in a paulownia box.
